When I reinstalled it I couldn't see the other side of the steering wheel but I jammed the strap with an airbag screw which caused the horn to beep constantly. Got it pretty quick. I did a test drive and was able to get it working, although it seemed a little intermittent. I'm not sure if it's because I slightly damaged the ribbon cable or the product because sometimes when I press the install button, the backlight of all buttons goes out instead of the button working. And still haven't received a resume button. However, I have to assume that this is damage I caused and not a defect in the product. The tape path was very close to where you inserted the screw to screw the airbag to the steering wheel on the side of the steering wheel. Be very careful when approaching either airbag to avoid catching the large washer on the airbag screw on the edge of the ribbon cable.
