Problem 1: The USB cable going to the headset is quite stiff and thick when rubbing against clothing/shoulder , which if it's for you, string and paper cup style audio is streamed to your right ear and possibly a microphone. Very distracting. Problem 2: The volume and microphone on/off controls are on the right ear (not on the USB cable). This means that if you're in a video conference and need to increase/decrease volume or mute/unmute, you have to press the right earbud so everyone can watch and distract. Also, the mic on/off indicator is on the USB cable, so your mic on/off process for your Zoom buddies will look something like this: 1 Swipe the right earcup to turn the mic on- /turn off, 2 Look down and look for the red light on the USB cable to confirm the microphone is on/off, 3: Speak while ignoring unnecessary noise in your right ear by typing run the above arbitrarily. 4: I wonder how many other people you see rotating their ear to mute and unmute the mic during zoom/vid-conf calls. Problem 3: Very uncomfortable ear pads. They're essentially flat, and unless you have a smaller head to offset the pressure exerted by squeezing the headset, your ears will likely start to hurt within 10 minutes of use. I ordered this headset because my Logitech H390 was sold out and needed something from Revane ASAP. Instead I found the H390 on brackets for $25. Get one, none of the above questions, the volume/mic on the USB cable where it should be. Return H540. not a well thought-out product, especially in times of Covid scaling. Logitech is a great company. However, mostly in the best quality. I will buy H390 as long as they make it.
