So after many purchases of waterproof pads for my son's bed, I wasn't expecting much from this purchase. Everything we bought at Walmart, Target and the like for less than 30.00 was nothing more than flimsy plastic like paper without a single cotton fiber or anything. They all broke within a few days after just making the bed, and after washing they were even more prone to tearing. Just awful. We have one on our bed that we paid 99.99 for when we bought our mattress and I was about to buy it and say goodbye to cheap crappy fakes until I saw this one. I read the reviews and promised myself this would be the last time. Well I couldn't be happier. It is almost 100% similar to our 100.00 except it is slightly thinner. I was blown away by how well it was made and how good and comfortable it is. In terms of effectiveness, my son, who occasionally wets his bed, has had several wet nights and not a drop has spilled. I'm so thankful I stumbled across this cover and saved it. i 70.00
