These amazing things. One push of a button and instant HOT HOT HOT heat! They last around 20 minutes. I give them to my mother when we go to a cold restaurant. She loves them and can't do without 3 in her purse. Sometimes they somehow get activated accidentally. TO UPDATE. After many years of use by my mother, we found them to be activated many times in her purse. I can't figure out why as it's so hard to press the button inside them, but for some reason they activate. There is also a slight leaching of the product both after cooking and during storage. The chemical smells like vinegar. I will buy another set but I hope they have improved the design.
