This Sonoff switch works like a charm. However, pairing took several hours as there is absolutely NO documentation for this device and the YouTube video I watch that prompted this purchase glosses over the pairing portion of the setup. My goal was to get my garage door opener to work with my Alexa setup in my house and I was able to get there with this device. To pair this with my home WiFi, I held the center button down for 5 seconds until I got 3 flashes, pause, 3 flashes, etc. Fi Network Fi in my iPhone settings. None of this was documented, all I had was the board but I got lucky and it worked for me. I bought a second smart switch for another garage door and set it up flawlessly, this switch shows up as a PLUG under my smart devices, it's still working fine, I don't know what the ramifications will be if it becomes a plug-in later devices is listed. The documentation doesn't say anything about this issue, but after searching the internet this seems to have been an issue for a while. It's annoying that there's no way to override the device type.
