Review on Versatile Comfort: Introducing People Footwear Unisex Phillips Sneaker by Zac Pewitt

I think these are too small

I'm a regular size 8 and 1/2. So ordering shoes that don't fit half size can be a real gamble for me. I had never tried People shoes before so I took a chance and ordered up to a size 8 as I'm more lucky when I order less than more. But these shoes are too tight for me to wear a size 8. They feel closer to a size 7 or 7.5. They were difficult for my feet and too tight for me to wear comfortably for long periods of time. It would be one thing if they were just "narrow", but this size 8 is uncomfortable. I think part of the problem is that these shoes are tight even after I loosen the laces. In addition, the insole is very thick. This makes the sole comfortable, but my foot feels like it's in a flat shoe. There isn't much fabric left to grab the back of the heel and it feels like the heel could slip off at any moment. This is very bad because in general the shoes are really good. It is made of incredibly comfortable materials. I was lucky enough to try on my second pair of People size 8 slip-ons recently and they fit perfectly. So I honestly don't understand this brand size. But if you're considering this shoe and you're in the middle, I have to recommend you rate it. I hope this review was helpful.
