Put this in our hallway downstairs and wow, it's so much brighter than the 1980's light we had before. We also have one of these in the kitchen and the only problem is that the globe doesn't come off after installation. It was supposed to be an easy twist, but it seems stuck and there are a few bugs that somehow managed to get in there. Eventually we'll take it off, but I don't know how. only for now. Otherwise I would still buy again.
