Review on πŸ’ͺ Ingersoll Rand Air Hammer 114GQC: Powerful Pneumatic Tool for Efficient Job Performance by Ryan Gillett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Locks Goldie's pneumatic hammers. Not too hot, not too cold.

I like this air hammer. I'm a dealer mechanic and I use this tool primarily for removing axle shafts from hubs, compressor drive lugs and various suspension jobs and loosening stuck components. It's not the heaviest air hammer, but it's well-balanced, handy and comfortable to hold. For the money you can hardly go wrong. The power is adjusted with the knob on the bottom of the handle. I really like this tool as I can use it with finesse, I can turn the power down when working with "sensitive" components or call on full power for heavier jobs. It met or even exceeded all my expectations in this price range. I used to have an attachable bad guy air hammer (PH3050) but it would go on and off and hit very hard (not always well). If you need an adjustable and controllable air breaker for light to medium jobs, don't hesitate to buy this device.

Pros

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
