I am a professional home and private chef and also teach cooking. I take all of my kitchen items, tools, utensils, knives, serving items and other accessories very seriously and when I test and review culinary items I am very critical and meticulous in rating and rating. My reviews are honest and unbiased. Good is good... bad is bad! This instant (ok, 2-3 second) thermometer is exactly what I wanted to replace with an old thermometer that no longer worked. The pocket storage insert provides instant access while cooking and the temperature is easy to read in ℉ and ℃ according to your needs. The accuracy was a few tenths of a degree. The long probe is great for keeping your hands away from the product being tested. This is a simple but essential tool in the kitchen that suits my needs perfectly. For that reason I would give it a high FOUR STARS and only because I would add a 5th star if it were a little more solid in construction. However, I can unreservedly recommend this ThermoPro.
