Review on 🎧 Powerbeats2 Wireless In-Ear Headphone - Pink/Gray: Unleash your Music with Style" by Christina Ford

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good overall - DO NOT BUY if you want to watch a detailed video

Update: I bought a pair for myself and another one for my wife. A little over a year later, both are in poor shape (the wire that creates the curved shape above the ear has snapped through the rubber sleeve on both headphones, and the remote part on the other is falling apart). They were very good while they lasted but expected more durability especially since we don't use them often or during training. I lowered my rating from 4 to 3 due to this issue. Fit is subjective - I was able to find a pair of insoles that fit me well, but they didn't fit my wife. They're a little tricky to put on the ear, but once on they're pretty secure. They don't isolate the ear from outside noise that well, but the sound is great nonetheless, and you still feel like they're going nowhere (they sit decently in the ear and have additional over-ear support). . . I find the sound quite balanced and good. They have pronounced bass, but I wouldn't call them bass by any means. The highs are nice and round, with just the right amount of tone, but never harsh. There are definitely a few issues I've seen. The audio is out of sync with the video on the iPhone/iOs device. This was very important to my wife as her main incentive to buy was being able to watch the video. It annoyed me too, but I mainly use audio so it's not that important. I've done a few firmware updates for the headphones (which was pretty easy), but the problem still persists. I still hope it's something that can be fixed. Another issue I've noticed is that the signal seems fuzzy at times. It doesn't happen often enough to be a big problem, but when it does, it's annoying. I'm surprised I'm giving them 4 stars given the video issue, but there's no getting away from the fact that these are easily the best small form factor wireless devices out there. ability to hear music.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
