I've been looking for these for a long time because I wanted to connect them directly to an existing 110v circuit. They are easy to install except the wires are very thin. They are too small to be used in connectors of any kind. Light quality is just right. I have installed them in wine glass cabinets and decorative china with smoked glass rims. They give off a nice warm glow, not too blue which can be an issue with some LEDs. I connected them to an existing wall switch. The weird thing is that they never turn off completely, even when they're off. The LED still lights up a little. It's so small that you hardly notice it, but they definitely still draw power somehow. I tested this by turning off the mains power and they went off completely. All other buyers notice this strange effect. I think maybe some kind of induction effect?
