Review on 🎧 Soundcore by Anker Life Q35: Hi-Res Wireless Audio & Active Noise Cancelling Headphones with 40H Playtime, Comfort Fit, and Clear Calls (Obsidian Blue) by Allen Wagner

Great noise canceling headphones. Compared to Sony, Bose, Skullcandy they are very good for the price!

These are very, very good NC headphones without the premium price tag ($300+). I've bought four "premium" noise-cancelling headphones over the past few weeks in search of the best of the best. I settled on the Sony WH-1000XM4 as the best of the best after buying and testing the Skullcandy Hesh ANC, the Bose QC 35 II and the Soundcore Life Q30 (which I returned for the updated Q35s). Again, the Sony XM4s are in a class of their own in terms of overall sound, noise-cancellation and extra features (most of which are good but not necessary). Bose was the worst of them all when it came to sound quality. The Skullcandy were very good for sound and noise cancellation and at the same price as these new Q35s. The Soundcore Life Q30s were great too (especially for $80), but the Q35s added a few features that I think are worth the extra $50. Essentially an LDAC upscaling audio codec, improved call mic and call quality, multi-device connectivity, and a wear-and-tear sensor that pauses music when removed (which I disabled on both my Sony XM4 and Q35). Again, the Sony XM4 (at the price I paid, which was $349) is still my favorite, but these Q35s come in second at less than double the price. I returned the Bose QC 35 II and Skullcandy Hesh ANC (unfortunately because I liked them) and returned the Soundcore Life Q30 while keeping those updated Q35 and Sony XM4. The sound of the Soundcore Life Q35 is a little heavy, but still excellent. The Sony XM4s have the best tonal balance but still have fairly strong bass. The difference between Sony and the new Soundcore is noticeable, but you could use the Soundcore Life Q35 and save yourself some extra money compared to the Sony XM4. I kept both and love them both. However, if you can't justify spending $280 (new lower price on the Sony XM4) but still want amazing active noise canceling headphones, you can't go wrong with these Soundcore Life 35s! Especially for $130. Better than Bose and better than the very good Skullcandy. I have to say that the Q35s' 40-hour battery is in a class of its own. And the dark blue color looks amazing! But the sound is important and the sound here is great! The extra features I mentioned earlier are just another reason to get these $250 or less headphones.
