I'm so glad I found it! I have high insteps, wide (but not very soft) feet and bursitis. I needed a real hiking shoe with a good profile that I could wear flip flops in that also had good ankle support and didn't rub against the creases of the shoe when walking. These boots were instantly comfortable! I can spread my toes, the soles are firm but flexible and they don't make my feet look like boats (like the Merrell Moab)! They are amazingly attractive and easy to put on and take off. I figured I'd have to break down and buy seriously old looking boots after trying on 12 pairs of "wide" boots that either pinched against my bones (New Balance, Vasque), hurt my toes in a crease (all Columbia), or had bad treads (Dr. Comfort).
