His name is Petey and he really enjoyed being around. His human mother took him to a creek with two of our normal sized Aussies and another small dog. Petey is 14 years old and tired of walking too far. He liked to go for walks, felt safe next to his mother's body and seemed comfortable. At his age, he would also get stomach pains if he touched his stomach, making it difficult for him to carry it long distances. We want him to have fun at the end of his life so this sling has worked great for him and we look forward to taking him on other outings. The sling allows him to have adventures even when he is older. For a heavier dog, this might be a bit too stretchy, but I think it will work well for a dog up to ten pounds. I read in the reviews that the sling hangs too low. I think his human mother is about 5ft 6in tall. It didn't linger too deeply on her. She said she liked it very much. I don't think it was.
