This could be made from a single piece of acrylic, but it looks like during the manufacturing process they took a flat piece of acrylic, heated it, and then bent both ends to be vertical create leg pieces. Looks terrible! There is a defect in the radius corner where they appear to have bent it. It looks like a crack or some kind of defect since it was bent during manufacture. My wife ordered an acrylic coaster from another manufacturer and it's really nice. I couldn't find it in Revain when I reordered so I ordered this one instead. Big mistake! I ordered one from Revain's Richboom and it's MUCH better. The transition angles/radii from the flat platform to the vertical legs are crisp and overall the product looks great. I recommend this or something else instead.
