During the last extreme heat wave I was desperate for something to help my Murray cool down as the heat seems to be the only thing that has ever bothered him and this cooling band was AMAZING ! I was skeptical that products like this would actually help, but I'm so glad I decided to try it because it really REALLY helps him! He doesn't usually like having any kind of collar put on him, but when I put it on he didn't even try to protest. He seemed to relax immediately, so much so that he seemed annoyed when I tried to take him off to freeze him again. The Murray is a 60-pound hybrid, but slips loosely over the head and has an elastic band that can be adjusted for a closer fit when tightened. It will definitely fit a dog twice or twice the size. If you're looking for an affordable solution to help your furry child stay cool, give it a try, it's worth it. I've already ordered extra ice packs to keep using him and changed ice packs to keep him comfortable throughout the day.
