I survived 52 degrees in my house for the Texas snowmeggeden .

I have multiple pairs. They are warm but not the least bit bulky. We had moths eat some wool and I think they got into my old silk thermalware. I now store them in a sealed bag. They wash well in machine or by hand. They dry in a flash!I bought large when I usually wear mediums. I just like extra room in the knees. They are short enough I can wear the larges easily. I have been wearing this brand for many years.

I have had thin silk underwear for years. I like to add them under leggings when I travel for added warmth without the bulk of the merino wool I also have. I have never had a pair that had stretch in them and they were perfect. I wear a 10 and the large worked great.
