Updated 12/6/19 *sigh* while the runner catches everything, dog hair, dirt etc. If you have short haired dogs like me they will be having their hair threaded into the carpet, so my amazing vacuums (Dyson's pet cleaning is a beast) can't remove the hair and I've spent a lot of time picking it out of this carpet. So back to the drawing board. Updated 8/5/19. Have you ever had that thrilling midlife laugh of victory when you realize that every previous decision you've made (some still fine, others you'll probably undo) is meant to be undone? Have your current cleanliness efforts failed (2 white and gray short haired dogs, husband and stepdaughter)? Muahahahah! This rug is s&@$. I've hung one at every entrance to our home and will soon be putting one in every hallway. These rugs saw heavy traffic at least twice a week and were aggressively vacuumed with a Dyson Animal vacuum (get one). You still look great! Handle a workload like no other and they will NOT move, slide or fold in ANY WAY - no matter how the heck my 2 dogs burn out when it's time to play. I chuckle internally with the most cynical yet joyous laughter whenever a new fugitive person, animal or object stumbles upon these carpets and does NOT manage to uproot my elaborate strategy. It's like I clean everything that comes through my doors through a 20ft board before it enters the inner circle of the house (evil laughter). It catches and grabs hair, but sucks like a dream (sometimes short strokes work better for heavier jobs). Lucky woman. Many Thanks. Previous Review: Great rug that does what I wanted it to make people and dogs walk almost 20 feet before they get onto hardwood floors which are divas when it comes to cleaning them. Looks nice. Good quality. I bought another one and will probably buy a 3rd, 4th, you get the point. This is an excellent rug.
