Received purchase promptly (to Canada). The lights were shipped in a box within a box with air bag fillers to eliminate bounce during shipping. No damage evidentWith initial inspection my overall opinion is that the lights are well made being 2-piece construction with a black PVC base and rustic bronze aluminum (?) lens hood which shields the LED light bulb from view and assists in controlling angle of light cast. Overall the lights are 4 1/4” tall from bottom of fixture to peak of lens hood (the base is 3”). Lamps appear to be well sealed where cord goes into lamp base. ETL certification shows on tag. The lead wire is 18” long - which allows for ease of final placement of lamps - and is pre stripped for immediate connection to low voltage line. SUNVIE has even included their innovative wire connectors which makes it super easy to connect the lamps to the landscape wire. I had previously ordered these SUNVIE connectors for an older low voltage lighting system (Malibu) to replace ‘pinch type’ connectors. With the SUNVIE connectors included it should take only 2-3 minutes to complete a lamp connection, making for little time to complete your project if the landscape wire has been previously run.The lens hoods, with the lamps usually being in an upward facing position, have been designed so that water will drain from the lamp face.The bulb temperature is on the warm end of the Kelvin scale in the +/- 3000K area.Overall, the lamps appear to be well made and well priced. The fact they come with 18” leads and act as well lights provides for greater versatility in final landscape placement and ambience of desired effects. With the specialty SUNVIE connectors being included provides addition value for $$$.Would highly recommend based on my initial inspection and observations.
