The dog gnawed at the original remote control, tried to fix it and then it broke indefinitely. I downloaded the Roki app to my phone (it's very handy to have this option, otherwise the TV wouldn't work at all). It worked but got annoying between the three kids and my phone, which was also my work phone. I figured getting another remote would be expensive and a hassle. NO! This amazing deal was cheap, arrived early and literally wasn't set up. Insert batteries and aim at the TV! Delighted with this purchase. EDIT - Well I was so excited about this purchase but lo and behold there are issues. When it works, it works great. However, after a few weeks it suddenly stopped working. I thought it might be the batteries (brand new ones that were included) because it would act like it was just dead, but then it would work randomly, making it look like an issue with the sensor. Ordered a replacement and hoped it was just defective, fingers crossed.
