We do this in our RV and don't have a good place to put shoes in the closet. So we bought it to fit around the base of our RV size double bed. The bed pulls out so that the head of the bed and about 18 inches on each side are not accessible. Therefore, we could not install them as required by the manufacturer. Instead, we took each half and wrapped them from the center of the foot end of the bed and around each side to the point where the bad meets the pullout. With some creative folding and tape, it fits perfectly. We also chose to pull our skirt back over the storage pockets so they are not visible. This makes accessing the pockets a bit more of a pain, but it looks a lot better. Our bed on wheels lifts up and has storage underneath. These pockets make it difficult to lift the bed and access the storage compartment. But if we both do it together, it's not that hard. The storage pockets are nice and big so you can fit almost any size shoe or even a pair of flip flops in them. In general this is a good quality product.
