Finally, a raincoat that is breathable (at least as good as a waterproof jacket can be), long enough to wear my waterproof pants (and has a low ponytail so he ALWAYS overlaps them when I'm in flip up bars!) and has long enough arms that I never have a gap between my sleeves and gloves! The wrists have velcro straps so they can be tightened Gloves for wind/rain protection or open gloves for extra ventilation. The rear zip pocket is easily accessible without removing the jacket (and is ideally placed to store my Light and Motion Stella helmet battery). Zip pits can be opened when needed for better ventilation and closed in colder or wetter weather. The vest pocket is the perfect place for my Polar GPS and stays dry enough to also carry my phone in it. .This is my absolute favorite jacket for riding in wet weather and also (with a long sleeve jersey underneath) in cold weather as I don't feel like I have "sausage wraps"! . Apparently, cyclists in Seattle know a thing or two about raincoats. :)
