Like some of the other people here I like to use it for gluing guitar bridges and it's sold here for about half the price it sells in specialty stores. This is a relatively cheap, reasonably effective clamp for any suitable purpose requiring light to moderate clamping force. As with most cheap clips, don't expect too much attention to the finish. It feels like a raw cast, but nothing uncomfortable or potentially dangerous. If using it for guitar repairs, be sure to use gaskets and supports for best results and to avoid damaging the instrument. It's a good idea to hold a few pieces of wood of different thicknesses with this clamp so you can plan them into compacts.
