My 11 year old daughter recently got contact lenses but medically she shouldn't suffer eye injuries playing sports. We bought them for basketball and volleyball. I like that the frames are clear so they don't obstruct their vision. They are lightweight and stay in place during competition. They don't fog up like your old glasses. She sometimes drips with sweat, but this can be treated quickly and easily. I would recommend them and the price is great. The included plastic packaging isn't a permanent solution to tossing the glasses in a gym bag. There's a good cloth pouch to protect them from scratches, but I recommend having a hard case handy for the glasses. Basically we are very satisfied.
