I like this little fan but I find some of its readings misleading. Do you know what small desktop USB fans are? It's like in terms of power. So when you see a woman's hair moving a few feet from a fan in a video? Will not happen. You can only feel the air about 6-12 inches (maximum) away. I should also note that I see the word "wiggle" here. Not quite the right use of that word in my opinion. When I see an "oscillating fan," I expect it to move on its own or spin back and forth. It's not like this. Instead, it has a grille on its front that can be rotated manually to change the direction of airflow. It's a handy feature that many other little fans don't have, but I guess it's not what most expect based on the level of detail. BUT overall it's really great for a few other reasons. First, it doesn't have to be work related. It comes with a rechargeable battery. All you have to do is plug it in (I do it overnight) and you're done. With the gentlemen and the fan running at full blast I get 3-4 hours of use on a single charge. I thought the small water tank would be a problem. That lasts longer than the battery. I haven't had any leakage issues. In fact, the seals around the tank are incredibly strong. I was worried about filling it in place and I don't have to. I can fill it up in the kitchen and use the handle to take it anywhere, which is good. Don't worry about spills. I didn't have instructions, but it's very easy to work with. The only thing that confused me was that my water tank came with a small white plastic element inside - it's rectangular with square grooves. Unfortunately, it took me almost a whole day to find out that it was probably intended for the ice cube tray. And when it doesn't, it certainly doubles well as one. lol I'm in Arizona and today the temp hit 108 degrees. I sat outside with this one next to me and while I can't say I was cool, I definitely felt a lot more comfortable than usual. Given our extreme temperatures, with no ice, there isn't much being done for me. At the outlet, the fog largely evaporates. But he's good with ice cream. The only thing worth noting is that the green color reminds me of camping gear. It fits on the outside but will likely look odd in your home unless you have the same dark green decor. Overall I'm happy with this fan. This is a huge win for me as it doesn't need to be plugged into an outlet and I can keep water off electrical devices or use it when I'm at my computer and not worry about it splashing on my laptop or fogs up. all about it.
