I pitch my daughter and need to be very close to throwing (half) punches and have every speed on my passes. I originally used the wing for a soft cast with a bow net, but this net is not really designed for a front cast. I had to come out of the curved sides to serve, which often exposed the right side of my body, especially if I didn't get back behind the net quickly. The bottom of this net also has an opening down the sides. You wouldn't think it would be a problem, but my daughter hit one dead center, through that hole, and into my shin. It was painful - bad. I now have this net which fits my Bow Net frame perfectly and it impresses. I feel so safe :) Remember not to just hang around in front of the feeding hole because although it looks small my daughter still shot a few through the hole in my direction. I wonder if she's aiming?
