Review on ⏰ Mesqool Bedroom Projection Alarm Clock by Roy Reeves

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very nice watch with lousy instructions

I like this watch for its simplicity, from the look of the case to how it sets the time and daylight saving time. This watch is well designed. The projector is cool. It's like an invisible secret clock built into the ceiling that cannot be seen during the day. The biggest problem with digital watches is daylight saving time. Congress changed the dates for Daylight Saving Time. The watch bakes the date inside. I have several clocks that go off by an hour twice a year for several weeks. The solution of this watch is ingenious. If you change daylight saving time, press and hold the DST button for 3 seconds. Presto! the time is perfect. It even has a Daylight Saving Time indicator so you know what mode the watch is in. Most other digital clocks I've had have a display dimmer, but they don't dim the display as much as I'd like. This clock has 3 brightness settings. The third option is perfect. I also like the AAA backup battery. I don't know why some watches use expensive and hard to find button cells. I always have a pair of AAAs. Some reviewers have noted that setting the time is difficult. Setting the time is really easy. The problem is bad instructions. How to set the time: First set the daylight saving time. Check the DST indicator on the display. If not, press and hold the DST button for 3 seconds. If the display brightness changes, you did not press the button long enough. Try again. To set the time, many watches require you to press and hold the time button with one finger while pressing the hour or minute button with the other finger. This watch is different, and this difference makes it much easier to set the time. Press and release the time button. The watch enters the time setting mode, which is indicated by the display flashing. While the display is flashing, press the hour or minute button until the time is set. When you're done, leave the watch alone and don't press any buttons for 5 seconds. The clock exits the time setting mode and the display stops flashing. That's all. Ready. And you only need one finger. Setting an alarm or radio station works the same way. The manufacturer claims that the watch can store 10 AM and 10 FM radio stations. I dont know. I installed an AM and an FM transmitter. It's easy to turn on the radio to any station. That's enough for me. After all, this is a watch, not a radio tape recorder.

Cons
