My youngest son recently got a scooter that he can ride (three wheels so he doesn't have to balance) but of course we still want him to wear a helmet and face shield . In fact, he wanted to because he sees his older siblings do it too! This blue helmet is perfect for him. When we got it, his eyes lit up and he kept telling his friends at playgroup about it. The straps needed a minimal fit to fit his head, they feel solid, and most importantly, I think we instill in him a healthy habit of being "cool" to be safe.
