I used two of these screws to hang a canopy over a chimney. They are very strong and the screws work great on drywall. I placed them so that some of the holes went through the studs in the wall and I used standard construction screws for those holes and then used the screws provided to attach them to the drywall. The result exceeded my expectations. Get it right and you'll find yourself sitting very tight against the wall no matter what you hang. I am very happy that everything went so well.
