This is my first time using something like this so not sure if I'm doing it right. I towel dried my hair first and then wrapped it. At first I was concerned that the buttonhole doesn't stretch, but it fits well over the button and stays on the hook. I can't turn too hard because it gets short and tight. The wrap may be a little small for long and thick hair. The price ($5.99) was great for 3 and I love the neutral colors! By the way, the towel does not scratch. Pooh! I hate the feeling of being picked on dry skin.
