***For ALL dechlorinators, you need to mix the appropriate amount with the clean water you put in the aquarium bucket. Wait 5 minutes for all of the chlorine AND chloramines to neutralize, then carefully add to the aquarium.*** I didn't find anything "bad" about this product, but there are WAY better options out there than yours Aquarium do more good. I recommend Seachem Prime, especially if your tank isn't possessed. (Adding a small amount of bacteria to the bottle with every water change, like Tetra Safestart, is great if your tank isn't cycling.) Prime actually detoxifies the ammonia in your tank from fish waste! This doesn't replace the 25% weekly water changes you need to do, but it does help to keep your fish happy. You will need a small dropper to work accurately with Prime as it is more concentrated than the special betta water conditioner. They're cheap at Revain and because they're more concentrated, they last a long time! More bang for your buck!
