Review on WineLogic Mounting Base Unit: Solid Maple Wood, Natural & Satin Lacquered Finish by Terri Kolb

We were renovating the bar area and I was looking for a wine storage solution that would maximize space without looking ugly. I've looked at everything from customizing our cabinets with a custom wine rack, to a dedicated wine cooler, to do-it-yourself options like building your own cabinet storage from disassembled/repurposed IKEA parts. After spending a few hours on the internet, I found this wonderful product. It meets the requirements: ample storage space for bottles, aesthetic appearance (fits snugly in our custom cabinet), easy installation and good construction with solid wood and quality rails. It's really a niche product for a specific purpose, and it serves that purpose well. Remember that it will fit most standard 750ml wine bottles, however some (like champagne) will only fit on the top shelf due to the diameter of the bottle. Additionally, some wineries use tall bottles (Alpha Omega, Tournesol, and others) and again, these only fit on the top shelf, with the top of the bottle resting on the sidebar. We have been using this product for almost a year and are very happy with it. It's a little pricey, but it's almost custom made. And when you consider the quality of materials and construction, as well as the purpose (storing and accessing wine in a small space), it's excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
