This floor tool works very well on hardwood floors and tiles as well as low-pile carpets. Retractable brushes are good for picking up hair and small debris like dust. There is no loss of suction when using this tool, but it does increase the overall volume (volume) of my canister vacuum significantly. I like that there are four wheels: two large ones in the back and two small ones in each front corner. I prefer one that rides exclusively on brushes. It comes with an adapter for my 35mm stick. It wasn't a problem that it came off during cleaning. My only complaints are that the tool is very light (some might think that's a good thing, but I think it feels cheap) and the little piece that allows you to park/store the wand on top of the canister , is too narrow for the slot. on my Mila.
