Use for CCTV from nearest building about 200ft away. Both buildings are of old-fashioned brick, with walls about 16 inches thick. The video stream is stable and clear. The transmitter gets hot. I run mine in an open space above a false ceiling and everything is fine. Works in temperatures I find almost unbearable, around 130 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the product description says it's hot, so that's not surprising. However, I mention this in case you plan to put it in a project box or an enclosed space. Plan for a good heatsink or ventilated fan installation for this use. The setup instructions were clear and I was able to find the channel without any interference. The pass-through power connectors on the transmitter are a very useful feature when you want to share a single power supply. Other devices I've tried have not been able to reliably penetrate stone walls.
