Ignore the negative reviews complaining of 'lack of continuity' for this tape - it correctly has resistance of 1 MΩ between the metal band plate. and a clip (see photo). You don't want it to be a "bare wire" connection - the idea is to slowly dissipate static. The strap itself is very well made and the first one I saw has an adjustable length - I have big hands but need to trim it down a bit for proper contact. The part that touches your skin is also much larger than what I've seen on other, cheaper straps. I appreciate that the alligator clip can be removed to reveal the banana plug.
