I was looking at the reviews and saw in one of the pictures shown how the wood can crack. So I took a chance and bought it anyway. Using a Philips screwdriver, I encountered the same problem. The wood split with just one screw. The rest worked fine. Nice to know what it is. But be careful, it can happen to you. Do not use power tools. I just used a Philips screwdriver and it cracked by hand.
