So far I'm really impressed!

I am a licensed nail technician and used a Medicool Power 520 drill until my kids got their hands on it and ruined it 😬🀬. I was in dire need of a drill as the shops near me didn't have much variety and the ones that did exist were very expensive! I stumbled across this drill press and it obviously has a lot of good reviews so I figured for $58 it couldn't hurt to give it a try! I ordered it late Monday evening and received it this morning (Wednesday) at 8am! Super fast delivery! I read another engine break-in report and followed it! I started on a low setting and ran for about 15 minutes (without a drill or using them), just let it sit and run. Increase the speed gradually for about 15-20 minutes each time. that helped A LOT! (Let it run for a total of 2 hours and gradually increase the speed and let it stand for 15-20 minutes each time you adjust the speed). After that I tried it on my nails and the pieces that came with it weren't amazing, but they weren't terrible either! I love this drill as I only used it briefly on the cuticle area. I don't even have to have it on full blast! I love that it doesn't stall under pressure even at low or medium speeds! I really hope this drill will hold up and work well, at least for a while! I am impressed! Thank you! I will post another comment or review in a few months to update this product (good or bad)! I would definitely recommend this product for now as I really like it more than my Medicool drill! I didn't use the optional and included pedal as I prefer to control the speed than my feet πŸ€ͺ Love that it has variable speed and forward and reverse! Especially for my own use to make my toes and or right hand! One more thing. I love that it goes with all my beats! I have a feeling that some bits have a longer shank so they don't sit flush with the hand tip and protrude a bit more, but I don't necessarily have a problem with that!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Reliability
