I've had an electronic file for 10 months, powerful but hot. From the beginning he made strange noises. Small speed increments are difficult to set, especially at the lowest settings. Well when I went to buy one of these it had mixed reviews but the site had a note saying the drill should be relieved within 2 hours (actually not used). I tried it, ordered it, it worked for 2 hours and it works great. I'll warn you that the printed instructions don't mention this cycle pause, but it's now quieter and cooler under load than it was for the first 2 hours of the pause, so just go for it.
