Bought for our camper so we can store it dry. One would think that with as many batteries as needed, the power delivery would be a little better. The fan is a good size, but it doesn't really blow much air. Even at the top. We adjust it so the air circulates while we sleep. We had it on a low level, and yes it worked, but almost didn't work. At low levels we had speed changes and you could hear him speeding up and slowing down. Like he's either dying or there's an internal problem. We used all Duracell D batteries purchased at the same time. The speed switch is easy to change, but even when you do, the amount of air blown doesn't seem to increase much. Not sure I can recommend it more than a gentle breeze to circulate air in a very small space. We're keeping it as there aren't really many battery fan options for our motorhome.
