Slight gap arrived. So far, so good. I tested it after putting batteries in and everything has worked fine (so far). I am planning a trip next week in hot weather and am hoping the fan will help expel hot air with the windows and sunroof open. Keep for updates.

The cable is really short. The one I received was defective, it only worked when there was movement, otherwise the fan would stall. So I ordered a replacement. The amount of air the fan blows out is okay, you have to be pretty close to feel anything. In a 10x10 tent it didn't matter. Now I keep it as a desktop fan.

I bought this for a hike where we didn't have electricity and it ran on 8 D batteries. However, I thought it would be more powerful when used at home with an AC adapter - it's not. I just thought it would be more powerful running on electricity than batteries. It's good for camping, I will still mainly use it for that.

We always take our dog with us when we travel, securely strapped in his own car seat and portable water bowl. When we need somewhere to stay in the summer, we park in the shade for a short while and that makes it more comfortable for her in the car. (My wife is a fanatic and she will keep checking it every few minutes and report that the car is still good and comfortable). We also use this for overnight stays where room ventilation is not ideal.

Bought for our camper so we can store it dry. One would think that with as many batteries as needed, the power delivery would be a little better. The fan is a good size, but it doesn't really blow much air. Even at the top. We adjust it so the air circulates while we sleep. We had it on a low level, and yes it worked, but almost didn't work.
