One of my cats recently had surgery and needed to be kept quiet. It's not easy with a cat! I thought this might be the answer. It's big enough to have separate areas for food, water and toilet, and enough space for the cat to run or curl up and sleep. It also has zipped doors on opposite ends - I could open both sides to take care of food/water/tray issues without unzipping the top to keep it from popping out. The only downside (for a cat) is that the floor is not closed. just as securely fastened as the top. It only attaches with velcro on the sides in multiple places rather than a zip as above. Once she felt better, she removed the arena floor and crawled out from under it. If I really had to keep it indoors at this moment I would tape the bottom to the sides. Not necessarily elegant, but it would work. Meanwhile, it would also be great for mother cat (or dog) and kitten (or pup) if you want to keep them safe.
