I was very skeptical that this would even work when I received it given the unknown company and suspicious Chinese manufacture. good for everyday outdoor use and fairly accurate. Optical clarity is good even under unfavorable conditions. There are a few dubious translation errors in the manual, but overall it's pretty self-explanatory. The packaging is also very good, perhaps the best thing about the product. You will receive a carry case, strap, cloth and battery. If I would change one thing it would be the plastic. This gives you the feeling that it is thin, but on the other hand it is durable enough for everyday use. I worry about dropping it because it's like hard, brittle plastic that doesn't react well when dropped. Anyway, I can recommend it as a cheap tool for the shooting bag. If you go hunting you might want a larger brand range finder, although I haven't hunted with one yet so take that with a grain of salt.
