I just bought and installed this Axion market basket.. on the back to mount a safety light. I would prefer instead of just having a slot it would have a simulated seatpost mount because in my experience any light you mount with a little plastic tab will break the little plastic tab in less than a season.The basket is small (big enough to throwing a backpack in) but looks prettier than a milk crate and more convenient than bungee cords. to prevent things in your market basket from flying out and the small holes in the wire mesh are too small for standard bungee hooks. work great. as me I certainly didn't pay attention to myself when I bought the basket and just assumed it could be installed on any luggage rack you have for your bike, it just so happens that ic h have a wire stand but the wires on it My rack doesn't match the slots on the bottom of the basket where you need to put the screws. As always when that happens, I just used zip ties instead. (You must use VERY THICK cable ties, and there are plenty of those. The ones I have are the "reputable" and "professional" brands.) The correct style of rack for the basket. **** Adding to my original review: a note about zip ties. The ones I used to attach the basket to the rack were STRONG zippers. Be sure to order HEAVY DUTY zippers. They increase in thickness as they get longer, so buy long ones (e.g. 24 inches) and trim off the excess. Also pay attention to the weather class so that it does not tear in cold temperatures. Slots on the bottom of the basket to attach to the luggage rack. If you want to attach something to the top of the rack you can use zips from this brand that barely fit through the holes: Gardner Bender Xtreme Heavy Duty zips. I tried 3 different brands to find one that fits because the holes in the mesh are pretty small. I tested it on the street and it works great. The only problem I had was getting tangled up in the elastic drawstring hooks in my pants. If I can think of a better solution for storing your stuff in a basket I'll post it.
