terrible design and quality

The base is plastic, not flexible at all. If the spot you put it on is not perfectly flat and protected from the sun, it can work. On the dashboard. not as much. Any lateral force detaches it. The glue will come off at the base first as nothing sticks to this plastic. A complete waste of money.
