The splatter guard works as it should and I'm glad I chose this compact model. First I was looking for a splash guard that fits perfectly and covers the whole stove. My only concern was that the grease didn't splatter onto the adjacent counter, walls, and fridge. However, all larger models were about 1.5 inches longer. Since I only use one pan when cooking things like bacon, steak, or anything else that causes grease splatters, I've found the compact size to be ideal as it keeps the entire stovetop grease-free. The BLUE HOME grease splatter screen was a good choice for me and I recommend this product to others.
