Review on 🌸 Wisedry Silica Gel Flower Drying Crystals by Jerry Delic

First off let me say that I'm not a pro, I'm just not afraid to screw things up so I always do some DIY projects. My best friend got married and had no intention of taking her bouquet so I asked if I could try to keep it. She said of course! She would throw it away anyway! It worked for me because if I messed up, she didn't care. In any case, I googled and found that silica gel is the best for preserving the shape and color of the flowers without losing their integrity (drying changes them both ways). Found this product, best price for the quantity you will receive. I basically kept all the flowers in her bouquet in this bag with enough silica. It turns white as it absorbs moisture so you can tell it's working (see image, the tops of the roses were white because the silica was absorbing moisture). In any case, the flowers dried at different rates, but after 2 weeks they were all completely dry. I checked them after 1 week, removed some and reinstalled others which took longer. I bought a box of eyeshadows, organized them the way I wanted and gave her an amazing gift last week that she wasn't expecting at all! Very satisfied with how this product works and the result. Since making that one bouquet I've clearly become a pro, so PRO TIP - the flowers will stay in the position you put them in the gel. With the lilies, I made sure to place the petals in a way that makes them look good.
