Good player. Go with Sony.
I have had many Sony AV devices and they have never let me down. I wanted a DVD player that would work with my entire collection without breaking the bank and this one did the job. Basically no setup was required other than connecting and plugging the outputs. Quick setup screen and I was off and running. It played every DVD I bought and every homemade DVD I put in it.
