Our 1954 Lyman Islander wood boat is REALLY a Firefly!
After pouring a few thousand dollars into our family boat to have the original mahogany transom replaced and the entire boat stripped and refinished, my sister suddenly got all huffy when she noticed that I'd removed the original Lyman tag and replaced it with the FABULOUS Firefly tag! I have NO IDEA why she's upset!It survived a summer out on the lake in sun and water without letting go of the highly polished mahogany stern!
