I like the material the leader is made of. It's thick and strong but the best part is the cover doesn't feel as hard as most I've used so it's a lot easier to work with, fold, fold back. So I really like this one a lot more than anything I've had. However, the clip I attach to my dog is different from the ones I've used. This is probably better than most as I think it's made in such a way that your dog will never detach and accidentally fall off which I like, but I have a hard time opening the clip with one hand and my dog in holding the other while I hold him open it to attach. My dogs are well behaved so they don't try to run away while I'm trying to tie them up. However, if your dog is impatient or you need to restrain a squirming dog when trying to undo the clip to tie your dog to the tie, you risk your dog running away from you while you try to tie him to the tie to tie a tie. Rope. Like I said once your dog has it attached it's designed not to come loose which is great but it's very difficult to undo the clip and hold it open with one hand when you're walking your dog in the other hold hand.
