First of all, I would like to respond to the complaints that the screws are not long enough, they are. The product fits like a glove if you get it right...but oh my, it's a trial and error journey. This is a simple installation, but you won't have any instructions to guide you through the actual installation. You have 4 brackets, 2 poles and 8 long bolts and 8 short bolts, washers for all the bolts and 4 pieces of foam tape that go between the pole and the roof ridges. One strip is shorter than the other. My 2021 kicks had the short bar at the back. Take a short rod, insert it into the front brackets marked RL (rear left) and RR (rear right). Take the short screws and attach the bar to the brackets below. Stand up and remove the rubber plugs from the roof mount screw holes. Insert the cylindrical washers into the screw holes, then take the included foam strip, peel off the backing from the adhesive side and insert it between the screw holes. Take the board, place it on the roof with the correct side as marked, line up the holes and screw in the long screws. When the foam is peeled off, it should be a fairly snug fit. Repeat with the front bar. I found the crossbars strong and very strong and the mounting hardware reliable. The delivery was very quick. I give the product 4 out of 5 points. A good alternative to the "official" Nissan cross members at half the price.
